Constitutionality.
Repeal of tax exemptions under this and other retirement pension acts did not violate the retirees state or federal constitutional rights. While these programs created a property interest in the individual contributions which vested after acquiring the minimum number of service credits, these vested rights did not include a repealed tax exemption. Pierce v. State, 1996-NMSC-001, 121 N.M. 212, 910 P.2d 288, 1995 N.M. LEXIS 406 (N.M. 1995).
