The Board directs the superintendent or designee(s) to annually provide parent/guardians of each student enrolled in the district a copy of the standardized immunization document developed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The standardized immunization document includes a list of required and recommended immunizations and the age at which each immunization should be given.
No student shall be permitted to attend or continue to attend any school in this District without meeting the legal requirements of immunization against disease unless the student has a valid exemption for health, religious, personal or other reasons as provided by law.
Students who do not submit an up-do-date certificate of immunization or a written authorization signed by one parent/guardian requiring local health officials to administer the immunizations or a valid exemption will be suspended and/or expelled from school according to regulation JLCB-R.
All information distributed to parents/guardians by the district will inform them of their rights to seek an exemption from immunization requirements.
