File:  JEB - Entrance Age Requirements

A child may enter kindergarten if five years old on or before June 1 of the year of enrollment.  Younger students shall be accepted if transferring from a public school kindergarten program.

Students enrolling in the first grade may enter if they are six years old on or before June 1 of the year of enrollment.  Younger students shall be accepted if transferring from a first grade in another public school.

A legal birth certificate or other acceptable records shall be required for enrollment age certification.

Proof of immunization for the following:

DTP- Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussia

Polio

Measles, Mumps, Rubella

Hemophilia Influenza Type B

Hepatitis B
