File: JGA - Assignment of New Students to Classes and Grade Levels File: JGA - Assignment of New Students to Classes and Grade LevelsNew students entering from public schools and accredited private schools shall be placed in grades and classes on the basis of their grade placement/credits in the school from which they are transferring.
The district administration, through academic achievement tests and other evaluation measures as found necessary, shall determine the appropriate grade level/credit status of students transferring from home-based educational programs and non-accredited private schools.
