It will be the personal responsibility of each licensed teacher and administrator to have on file in the Office of Human Resources a copy of their current Colorado State credential, appropriate to the type of service to be rendered.

The minimum record on file in the Office of Human Resources will include a record of professional training and experience, including a transcript of college and/or university credits.  Each employee will be responsible for supplying the Office of Human Resources with all other information necessary to keep their records current, including official transcripts of recent credits and license renewals.

Teacher pay shall be determined in part by the records kept in the Human Resources office.  The District may make corrections in pay assignments or compensation if inaccuracies or errors are found in the files.  The District shall recover over-payments for no more than the 18 months preceding discovery of an error and will compensate employees for underpayment for no more than 18 months.

The employee has the right and responsibility to review his/her personnel file and has the opportunity to prepare written comments on material contained therein.
